The writer-director and his wife Aruna Devi are blessed with a second girl child. The director took to his official Facebook account to post this development. The couple are also parents to daughter Kuraliniyaal.
Rathna Kumar is presently working as co-writer in the forthcoming multi-starrer film Master, directed by his friend and ‘Kaithi’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film stars Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthnu, Andrea among others. Produced by XB Film Creators, Master is expected to release on April this year.
