Sri Reddy's protests against casting couch garnered attention from the South Indian film industries, and everyone was shocked by the allegations put forth by her. However, the credibility of her controversial social media posts has not been proven.
Now, Sri Reddy has got a good news, for all the protests she has been doing. The good news is that the Telangana Government has ordered to form a special cell in the Film Development Corporation to monitor casting couch issues. This special cell will listen to all the problems of the young heroines, who face sexual harassments inside the industry.
A meeting took place yesterday, (April 21), headed by Minister for Cinematography, T.Srinivas Yadav. The meeting was also attended by MAA President Shivaji Raja, actress Jeevitha Rajasekhar, C.Kalyan, and many others from the Telugu film industry. This meeting took place immediately after Telugu Superstar Pawan Kalyan approached the MAA and Telugu Film Chamber office to end the controversy as soon as possible.
Will Sri Reddy be happy with this new rule? Or is she going to protest for something more? Well, we will have to wait to know!
