Arya was last seen playing the dual role in director Santhakumar's second film, Magamuni, a crime drama featuring Indhuja, Ilavarasu and others in crucial roles. The film is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green.
The actor will be essaying the lead role of Tik Tik Tik director Shakti Soundar Rajan's forthcoming film Teddy. The actor will be sharing screen space opposite his wife Sayyeshaa, who will be playing female lead.
Recently, the makers have officially announced that actress Masoom Shankar for an important role. The director took to his Twitter account to express that the actress has finished shooting for her portions in the film. Apart from the aforementioned cast, Teddy also stars Sathish, Magizh Thirumeni in crucial roles.
Masoom Shankar rose to fame by portraying her role in director Anita Udeep's second film '90 ML', which starred Oviya as the lead. The actress will also be appearing in Harish Kalyan's Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae
