AJITH'S BIGGEST HIT CELEBRATED TODAY

Six years back, on 31 August 2011, Ajith’s Mankatha directed by Venkat Prabhu hit the screens worldwide. The movie’s teaser and Yuvan Shankar Raja's theme music and songs rocketed the expectations of the film. It had Ajith in a very different avatar, and the film dealt about gambling and illegal betting.

Ajith, who has one of the biggest fan base in Tamil cinema, the actor boldly experimented his 50th film in a Negative role. Despite playing a Negative role, Ajith's performance received massive applause from both fans and critics.

The film had an excellent cast with Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Andrea and Premgi Amaren in pivotal roles. With six years completed now, this day is something special that would be cherished by Ajith and the whole Mankatha team.
