Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar had a grand opening yesterday (November 6) at the box office, and the film's opening day collections have already set records. Not just through the box office numbers, Sarkar has also set new records with the facts associated with the movie.
 

Those who have seen the film would know about section 49 P, an important election law, which allows a person to have the right to get back his/her ballot back and vote, if in case, someone voted in that person's name. Sarkar discusses about this law at an important juncture in its screenplay.
