Thalapathy Vijay, who was last seen in A.R.Murugadoss’ ‘Sarkar’ had made headlines for a lot of reasons. One such reason is the introduction of a new concept called ‘49P’, which many citizens were unaware of.
With the elections around the corner, the Election Commision of India has started it’s campaign to educate voters about their rights and make every citizen vote. In a recent campaign, posters spreading awareness regarding ‘49P’ had been released. With the use of 49P, any voter whose vote has been bogus can re-vote again. This concept used in the film has educated many voters in real-life too.
On the work front, Vijay is currently working with Atlee for his next film, which is tentatively titled as ‘Thalapathy 63’. The movie also stars Nayanthara and Daniel Balaji in lead roles, with actors Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek playing crucial roles. It has music by A.R.Rahman and cinematography by G.K.Vishnu. The project is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment.
