OTT platforms have become the only choice if you want to release a film currently, since the theatres are still shut down in India. This festival season (Onam), we have three amazing films lined up for release via OTT - C U Soon, Maniyarayile Ashokan, and Kilometers And Kilometers.
Maniyarayile Ashokan is a Malayalam romantic comedy film. Directed by Shamzu Zayba, the movie is bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan under the banner Wayfarer Films along with Jacob Gregory, who also stars in the title role. Starring Anupama Parameswaran, Krishna Sankar, Shine Tom Chacko and Anu Sithara, the film will release on the OTT platform on Netflix from August 31, 2020.
Kilometers and Kilometers is a pakka Malayalam road film directed by Jeo Baby who scripted it with Deepu Pradeep. The film is produced by Tovino Thomas, Ramshi Ahamed, Anto Joseph and Sinu Sidharth, under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company and Ramshi Ahamed Productions. Featuring Tovino Thomas, Joju George, India Jarvis, Sidhartha Siva and Basil Joseph, the movie will have a direct release on Asianet Channel on August 31, and will also release on Disney+ Hotstar.
C U Soon is an upcoming Indian Malayalam mystery-thriller film written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan.[1][2] The film stars Fahadh Faasil, Roshan Mathew and Darshana Rajendran in lead roles along with Saiju Kurup and Maala Parvathi in supporting roles.[3] Produced by Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, the film will release on Amazon Prime Video from September 1, 2020.
