2.0'S FIRST DAY CHENNAI CITY BOX OFFICE REPORT

Superstar Rajinikanth's third outing with Shankar, 2.0 has emerged with a tremendous opening day Chennai city figure, after its release yesterday, November 29th. This big-budget science-fiction has opened to highly positive reviews from all areas, which has helped the film's opening.

According to Behindwoods Chennai Box Office Analysis wing, the film has approximately collected around ₹2.4 crores from its opening day in Chennai city limits alone. There were a few shows allocated for the Telugu and Hindi versions of 2.0 which is included in this list. This is so huge and the highest ever for a film to release on a working day.

However, this collection doesn't include the extra fare charged for 3D glasses. If you include 3D glasses charges, then the collection will be even more.
