NO MORE FILMS IN THESE 10 THEATRES!

In the age of Internet and Technology, there are a lot of possible ways of movies getting leaked. A lot of movies get released online within hours of release of the theatrical release. The Anti Piracy squad of Tamil Film Producers Council is taking necessary steps to prevent this.

Yesterday, we had reported that Vishal had sent a notice to QUBE, to not give the KDM license to 9 theatres in Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. This includes the popular Cinepolis in Mangalore, and Sathyam in Bangalore. 

The latest update from the Producer's council is that the shortlisted theatres won't be allowed to screen movie indefinitely, after October 17. 

The theatres in the list are are:

Krishnagiri Murugan Theatre
Krishnagiri Nayanthara Theatre
Mayiladuthurai Gomathi Theatre
Karur Ellora
Arani Chetpet Padmavathy
Sathyam Bangalore
Karur Kavithalaya
Viruthachalam Theatre
Cinepolis Mangalore
