VIGNESH SHIVAN AND SIVAKARTHIKEYAN

Simple conversational lyrics in Tamil cinema are becoming a successful trend. Lion's share of the credits for this must go to Simbu, Dhanush and many other amateur writers with wide creativity. Director Vignesh Shivan is another entrant to this list with songs like Adharu Adharu from Yennai Arindhal, Enakkenna Yaarum Illaye from Aakko and most of the songs from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (NRD).

Vignesh has also penned the lyrics for Sivakarthikeyan’s next funded by 24AM Studios and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. He tweeted saying,

With Anirudh’s music, PC Sreeram’s cinematography, Resul Pookutty’s sound design, Ruben’s cut, Anal Arasu’s stunt work, Muthuraj's art work, this debut directorial of Bakkiyaraj is indeed an exciting project for all Sivakarthikeyan fans. When behindwoods spoke to Vignesh, he proclaimed that this will be a song that will reflect the positivity and energy that Sivakarthikeyan always carries.

“I am extremely happy with NRD’s success and my next script is getting ready. It is in a very nascent form and announcements will be made in a month or so. This time you will see a story with no shade of my previous films and with some experimentation”, says Vignesh Shivan when asked about his next project.
