TN BOX OFFICE: THOONGAVANAM'S FIRST WEEK PERFORMANCE

Kamal Haasan - Trisha starrer Thoongavanam directed by Rajesh M Selva opened as a Diwali special on November 10th last Tuesday. The film grossed around 4 crores in TN on its first day as reported earlier, and at the end of the first week today (Nov 16), it is expected to gross around 14 crores in the state. The film would be taxed and the net would be close to 12 crores.

 

Sources close to the team mention that rain has impacted the collections, while the content is also targeted more at the urban audiences and multiplex goers. We have to see how Thoongavanam sustains in the coming days.
