Fans do this to show their immense love for their star. Starting from Superstar Rajini to the upcoming stars like Sivakarthikeyan, such scenes are part and parcel of every film release.

 

One such leading actor Suriya has his Pasanga 2 releasing on December 24 and the star has thoughtfully requested his fans to not invest money on such banners, posters and hoardings and instead focus on serving people affected by the recent floods and heavy rains. He has also thanked his fans who have been part of relief efforts on the ground over the past few weeks.

 

Suriya also maintains that he has always told his fans to not spend money on such extravagant celebrations and instead direct money towards public service. Way to go, Mr. Singam.
