''I WAS VERY CONFUSED'' - SURIYA

Pasanga 2 is scheduled to release on Dec 24th and it's press meet took place recently where actor Suriya opened up for the first time about the recent floods.

"Everyone asked me why I wasn't talking about Pasanga 2 at all and the main reason for that is the Chennai floods. I was very confused whether to talk about the floods or Pasanga 2. 

There are a lot of things that come to mind when we talk about Chennai. But the Chennai floods saw the volunteers come together and help selflessly. They have given a new identity to the city. I take this opportunity to thank them for the immense help they have done for the past few weeks. I salute all the unsung heroes who volunteered for this flood.

Pasanga 2 is yet another benchmark for 2D Entertainment. This film would definitely open newer avenues and change the thought process of parents to observe rather than teaching their children. Bindhu Madhavi, Vidya Pradeep, Muniskanth (Ramdoss) and Karthik Kumar have become more like a family to me. Thanks to all the kids because they were ready to do anything. Though we all have put in a lot of effort , we absolutely need your support too. Thank you"
