CROSSING 100 CRORES NET IN JUST 3 DAYS!!

The latest film from the Salman Khan - Sooraj Barjatya duo, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) is setting the cash registers on fire right from its release on November 12. It may have been an old-fashioned TV soap-like melodramatic film, but the target group i.e. family audiences have been lapping it up big time.

 

The first 3 days Indian net collections of the Hindi version of the film is reportedly a massive 101.47 crores. The Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of the film are negligible in terms of business. This is the 9th film of Salman to do business in excess of 100 crores net in India and he is the one with the maximum entries in this elite club. His earlier release this year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was also an all-time blockbuster. No stopping 'Bhai'.

 

Trade pundits expect a major upswing in PRDP's business today as well, for a 4-day Indian net upwards of 135 crores. Whopping indeed!
