GOLDEN GIRL NAYANTHARA

It has been a wonderful year for Nayanthara with the ravishing beauty’s films recording critical and mass acclaim with back to back releases.

 

One of her films this year, Maya, directed by Ashwin Saravanan is enjoying its 50th golden day at the turnstile today, the 5th November. Maya, a horror thriller, but with finer human emotions handled in a very sensitive manner, has Aari, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli and others supporting the pivot Nayanthara. The film was appreciated for its engaging screenplay, intelligent narrative style, technical excellence and superlative performances.

 

Naturally upbeat about this feat, Ashwin Saravanan says, “The warm reception for Maya is encouraging and reassuring for the entire team. Personally, Maya has given me the confidence to continue experimenting with various other genres. I couldn't have asked for a better debut”.
