Arch rivals have always grown from time to time in Tamil cinema. Starting from MGR-Sivaji, Rajini-Kamal and Vijay-Ajith, Tamil cinema has witnessed diverse fan groups.

Talking about Kannada industry in particular, Rajkumar and Shankar Nag were the then frontrunners and their fans also indulged in big time fights to show who was mightier. In the recent past, Sandalwood fame Dharshan and Kiccha Sudeep are the ones enjoying similar fanfare. An online war is said to be happening between the dedicated fans of the respective stars.

To put an end to this, the Porki (Pokiri remake) fame Dharshan has made a Facebook video from his official account requesting fans to no more involve in such acts of fan rivalry. He also told that it deeply affects him and feels as if he’s being represented for this whole scenario.

Kudos to actor Dharshan’s effort in actively participating to curtail something that needs immediate action. If such efforts from Ajith or Vijay's camp comes through, it sure would be a welcoming one! Let's hope for the best!
