A PACKED SOUTH-EASTERN MONTH FOR THE SUPERSTAR

The team of Kabali, being directed by Ranjith featuring the Superstar, is currently in Malaysia to can important scenes. Rajinikanth is the toast of the country and we get to see many videos and photographs of fans with their favorite icon and their interactions with him daily.

As regards the shooting updates of Kabali, reliable sources reveal that the crew will be filming in Malaysia for a total of 26 days, followed by 3-4 days in Bangkok.

In Malacca, the unit has shot in the police commissioner’s room, meeting hall, parade grounds and the prison area. In Kuala Lumpur, Kabali was filmed at a cemetery and also at the airport. Reports suggest that sequences involving night shoot in the streets of Kuala Lumpur are also planned. Shooting will also happen in Carey Island for almost a week’s time.

It is expected that the Superstar might come to Chennai briefly to celebrate Diwali and get back to the shoots. With the team leaving for Bangkok towards the month end and shooting there for 3 days, it is reported that the schedule in Malaysia - Thailand for Kabali would then be complete.
