People call her the Lady Superstar now. Yes, we are talking about the adorable and the ever captivating Nayanthara. We have more reasons to write about her now as it is her birthday today. She was born on this date 18th November, 31 years ago. Now let’s flash down her road to stardom.

Touchdown 1: She made her film debut 13 years (2002) back in a Malayalam film Manassinakkare and then went on to do a couple of Malayalam films before her first Tamil film Ayya happened.

Touchdown 2: After Ayya released, Nayanthara was already a well-known name in Tamil Nadu but it was when she paired with Superstar Rajinikanth in Chandramukhi (2005), that her career took a big leap.

Touchdown 3: She was a part of many hit films like Ghajini, Billa, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Boss Engira Bhaskaran during the timeframe of 2005 - 2010. Then due to personal reasons, she went on a sabbatical.
