ALONG THE LINES OF AJITH’S MANKATHA?

Ennodu Vilayadu is an upcoming multi-starrer featuring Bharath, Kathir, Sanchita Shetty and Chandini in the lead roles.

This film is currently in its post-production phase and it’s a commercial thriller based on horse racing, money and gambling. Apparently both Bharath and Kathir will be featuring as friends, but money will however play the key role in this film. This makes us think of the Ajith starrer Mankatha where the basic premise was about money. In fact, the Mankatha title logo used in the posters and title card was based on poker chips which are used for gambling indicating that the film had lots to do with money and gambling.

Arun Krishnaswamy, former AD of Boopathy Pandian is directing this film while Moses heads the music department and Gopikrishna, Thani Oruvan’s editor, will be handling the cuts.

After the offbeat Kirumi and a raw actioner Madha Yaanai Kottam, Kathir forays into the commercial space with Ennodu Vilayadu. The film may come out in January. Best wishes team.
