AFTER KATHTHI, AR MURUGADOSS'S NEXT TO RELEASE IN...

Director AR Murugadoss after his Kaththi went to Bollywood where he started work in Akira featuring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. This Hindi film is adapted from Santhakumar’s Mounaguru and has RD Rajasekar’s cinematography, Sreekar Prasad’s editing and Vishal Shekar’s music.

The shooting of the film which began early in 2015 is complete now. Post production work is going on currently and the film is aiming for a February 2016 release.

Akira is said to signify graceful strength which also has Konkana Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal roles. Raai Laxmi makes her Hindi debut while Shatrughan Sinha will be seen in a crucial role in Akira.
