Russian model who called Putin a "psychopath" found dead in suitcase

The body of a Russian model who criticized the Russian President Vladimir Putin as a psychopath, was found in a suitcase.

Gretta Vedler (age 23) was from Russia. She had hit the headlines when she branded the Russian President Vladimir Putin on social media as "psychopath." Following this, her visits on the social networking sites dropped dramatically.

The incident in which Gretta Vedler's body was found in a suitcase in a car trunk has caused a great stir in Russia. Police are investigating the case. Gretta's ex-boyfriend Dmitry Korovin broke the news.

According to the Daily Mail, he confessed to "strangling Gretta Vedler". He said he strangled his ex-girlfriend and stuffed her body in a suitcase. Dmitry Korovin also told authorities that he spent three nights in a hotel room with her corpse before stuffing it inside a new suitcase. He also told detectives that he then carried on posting pictures and messages on the model’s social media to make friends believe she was still alive.
