Russia has been attacking Ukraine for more than three weeks. Russia is waging this war despite international opposition. That is why the United States and European countries have imposed sanctions on Russia.

Yet Russia continues to attack Ukraine. Russia has also removed several countries from its list of allies, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

The value of the Russian currency, the ruble, has plummeted as many countries have imposed sanctions on Russia. So the country is facing economic problems. Now, the Russian President has issued a statement to countries that are not on the list of allies and buy gas from them.

Accordingly, President Vladimir Putin has said that countries that buy fuel from Russia should pay only in Russian rubles. Rupee has instructed their country's bank officials to take action to get the money as soon as possible.

Despite the fact that many countries in Europe have taken a political stance against Russia, they continue to buy natural gas from that country. Currently, Putin's announcement has forced European countries to buy Russia's money.
