Speaking at the meeting, US President Joe Biden warned that "NATO will retaliate if Russian President Vladimir Putin uses chemical weapons in the war in Ukraine."
The US President has traveled to Ukraine's neighbor Poland today. As the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, Biden's visit to Ukraine's neighbor Poland has been widely reported around the world.
Chemical Bomb
Biden, who has already spoken out about the potential for a chemical bombing, said last week that "Russia accuses the US of possessing chemical and nuclear weapons in Europe, but the possibility of Russia using chemical or nuclear weapons in Ukraine remains clear."
In this context, Biden's warning that NATO would retaliate if Russia used chemical bombs in Ukraine has resonated around the world.
