Charlotte was born in 1816 and is a famous English novelist. Charlotte became interested in writing at a young age and began writing novels. When his first novel, The Professor, was completed, no publishing house was interested in publishing it. But then his novel Jane Eyre received attention all over Europe. Following this, Charlotte became known as one of the leading writers of the English language.
But the little book that is currently going viral is the little songs Charlotte wrote when she was 13.
The Missing Book
Written by hand and sewn with thread, Charlotte has published this book. In it, Charlotte, who has written short songs, writes about how they came to be childish. Charlotte's booklet, famous in the literary world, was purchased at an auction in New York City in 1916 for $ 520. Who owns that book after that? No information about is there.
Almost 100 years later, Charlotte's book was unveiled at the New York International Antiquities Book Fair on April 21-24.
Auction
Written by Charlotte at the age of 13, the self-published book was announced by Friends of the National Libraries for $ 1.25 million (Rs 9.56 crore). This little book is about to return to England centuries after Charlotte spent her entire life.
Earlier in November 2019, Charlotte's booklet, Young Men's Magazine, was purchased for $ 850,000. In December of the same year, a team of British libraries and museums purchased seven small handwritten books by Charlotte for $ 19.5 million.
