Five Indian students traveling in a van have been killed in an accident near the Canadian city of Toronto. Trenton - The crash was reported last Saturday morning in the Belleville area.

All of them are reported to have studied at educational institutions in the Montreal and Greater Toronto area.
Confirming this, Indian Ambassador to Canada Ajay Bisaria wrote on his Twitter page, "A heartbreaking tragedy has taken place in Canada. Five Indian students were killed in a road accident near Toronto on Saturday. Two others have been admitted to hospital. The Indian Embassy in New Delhi is in touch and assistance is being rendered to them. "
Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar has taken to Twitter to offer his condolences following the death of five students in a road accident in Canada. "I offer my condolences to the families of those killed in the road accident in Canada and pray for the recovery of the injured," he said in a statement.
