Man pierced by rod seen playing on phone while waiting for ambulance

An accident victim from China was seen playing on his phone while waiting for the ambulance. The man's calm demeanour comes as a contrast with the 13-foot long rod impaled on his chest.

The incident reportedly took place last week. The man was driving when he collided with a railing after which the rod impaled through the upper left side of his chest. In such a dire situation one would expect the victim to be anything but calm. However, he was just that.

A video of the man calmly fiddling with his phone with the rod through his body has gone viral. The video has garnered over 604 million views so far. From the video, the man can be seen taken out of the car by rescuers. Even while being carried to the ambulance, the man can be seen using his phone.
