4-yr-old shoots pregnant mother in face with gun

According to reports, a 4-year-old boy shot his eight-month-pregnant mother in her face with a handgun in their residence in Seattle.

The woman was reportedly watching TV with her boyfriend on Saturday afternoon when the boy walked in and shot her. The gun belonged to a friend which the boyfriend had borrowed for safety. Since the gun was kept under the mattress, the boy was able to find it easily.

The woman had to be rushed to the hospital and is recuperating now. The woman's boyfriend, who is also the father of the boy is under investigation for not keeping the gun in a safe place.
