A taxi rammed into a crowd of FIFA World Cup fans on Saturday afternoon in Moscow, Russia, injuring eight. The accident took place in the centre of Moscow, where many tourists and residents hung out due to the football matches.
The driver has a licence issued in Muslim-dominant Kyrgyzstan. He reportedly alleged that he lost control and did not hit the pedestrians on purpose.
Eight were injured and admitted to the hospital and seven were in a [retty good condition. One woman was critically injured. A criminal investigation has been ordered to probe the incident.
