Novel Predicted Wuhan Coronavirus 40 Years Ago? Internet Stumped!
Home > News Shots > World newsThe internet is indeed a funny place where sometimes the line between fact and fiction blurs. In one such instance, an internet user has brought out a reference where a novel purportedly written 40 years ago has a reference to Wuhan coronavirus, which has been keeping countries around the world on edge.
A thriller novel The Eyes of Darkness, written by Dean Koontz in 1981, mentions a virus named Wuhan-400. In the novel, the virus is created as a weapon in a laboratory. Incidentally, there are also conspiracy theories that the novel coronavirus could be a bio-weapon though the same has been debunked by many scientists.

Read most of Dean Koontz books and enjoyed how descriptive they were. This, however, is a little too close to the 🦴 😱
