Medical Experts Reveal 6 New Symptoms Of Coronavirus, Other Than Cough & Fever
Home > News Shots > World newsAs more than 2.89 million people across the globe have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revealed a new update on the virus. Previously it was listed that cough, fever and shortness of breath were symptoms of coronavirus.
Now, with the latest update and research by a medical team, it has revealed that severe chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and new loss of taste or smell are also symptoms of coronavirus.
As per a Forbes report, the CDC team added that these new symptoms will appear 2-14 days after virus exposure. They have also urged people to seek immediate medical care if they develop any of these symptoms.
“The virus seems to be causing increased clotting in the large arteries, leading to severe stroke. Our report shows a seven fold increase in incidence of sudden stroke in young patients during the past two weeks. Most of these patients have no past medical history and were at home with either mild symptoms (or in two cases, no symptoms) of COVID,” Dr. Thomas Oxley, a neurosurgeon at Mount Sinai Health System in New York told CNN.
