This Dog Loves To Skydive And Is Well On His Way To Getting His Own Skydiving License
Home > World newsAlex Coker is a man of many faces - Ex-military, a sheriff's deputy, a skydiving instructor, and most importantly a pet owner. And he often decided to combine two or more of these responsibilities.
Coker has done something very unusual for his pet. He has taken his 34kg dog, Duke, on four skydiving expeditions in West Tennessee, US.
Duke is bigger than any other dogs that have jumped out of planes. Unlike others, he is also not a military animal. Coker told people that his pet enjoys skydiving because his "ears stick straight up". He says it's similar when Duke puts his head out of the window when Coker drives a car.
With only 21 jumps to go, Duke is well on his way to become the first certified canine skydiver. This means that he can go skydiving by himself! However, his owner told people that it won't happen because he "loves him too much to let him do it alone."
