Man Cuts Off Half Of His Nose & Ears; Gets Tongue Split To Resemble A 'Living Skull'

Every once in a while we hear stories of people undergoing extreme makeovers. This one is no exception.

A Colombian tattoo artist named Eric Yeiner Hincapie Ramirez has been fascinated by skulls from his younger days. His obsession has led him to spend thousands and undergo extreme modifications to resemble a 'living skull'.

Ramirez, now at the age of 22, has renamed himself as Kalaca Skull after undergoing extreme surgery for 2 years. In his first procedure, he had his earlobes chopped off and the lower part of his nose removed. His jittery look became a rage on the internet, with over 10,000 people following him on social media.

To make it even bizarre, Ramirez split his tongue in two and dyed it grey. He also had dark eye sockets permanently inked on his face. He also had skeletal teeth shaded around his mouth.

While he has gained some followers on social media, members of the public and media in Colombia have slammed Ramirez for his ghastly look. "Body modifications are a personal decision and should not be judged," said Ramirez

"It is like judging a woman for getting breast or buttock implants. For me, a skull is like my sister, a part of my family really, I feel very attached to them," he added.

While others may feel odd about his look, he describe his transformation as a "dream come true". "I am a normal person who just happens to look a lot different than most other people," he added.
