WATCH VIDEO: "I will go to border..." Says Legendary Cricketer on India vs Pakistan Issue
Home > News Shots > World newsFormer Pakistan Cricketer Javed Miandad shared a video on his twitter space in which he spoke about the prevailing Kashmir issue that happened over the scrapping of Article 370 by the central government of India. The legendary cricketer said that he wanted peace to prevail between India and Pakistan. Further, he added that he will visit the Line of Control (LoC) along with other sportspersons to talk peace at the border.
"I will go to border seeking peace along with other sportsmen, top people and everyone. I will go there and talk about peace with everyone. I will also carry peace flag. If things did not change after I go there, I will campaign for peace to all the people and tell that we are with Kashmiri people," Said Javed Miandad in the video.
Further, Miandad added that he would like India and Pakistan to end everything and come to a peaceful solution. "I want everyone to get their right. They are fighting for 40 years for their rights. If you treat people unfairly, more instances will come up. Everyone needs to think about Kashmir and find a solution," added Miandad.
The situation between India and Pakistan heated up since August 5 on which the Article 370 was scrapped and a statement was released by the President of India to bifurcate Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories -Jammu and Kashmir with legislative assembly and Ladakh without legislative assembly.
