According to reports, a 28-year-old Indian man has been shot dead at his home by some unidentified assailants in Brampton, Canada. Palwinder Singh, alias Vicky, from Jalandhar in Punjab, a truck driver, was killed on Tuesday in an alleged robbery attempt. However, the exact reason behind the murder is still unknown.

Vicky had moved to Canada about eight years ago. One of Vicky’s friends reportedly told that the victim was killed by some unknown persons after he returned from work. Jaswinder Kaur, the elder sister of the deceased, who also lives in Canada, said the investigation officials in Canada would hand over the body in 15 days.

Reportedly, Palwinder had celebrated his 28th birthday just two days ago. His mother Rajinder Kaur, in tears, said, “Vicky tried hard to fulfil all our dreams. He was scheduled to come again in November.” His father Gurmez Singh reportedly said they had renovated their house and had planned to move in as Vicky was scheduled to return in November.
