In a first, penis and scrotum transplanted to war veteran

After almost 14 hours of surgery, a veteran of the US Armed Forces now has a new, transplanted penis and scrotum. This transplant is the world’s most comprehensive penis transplant. The surgery took place at Johns Hopkins Hospital at the end of March and it apparently looks like a success. The hospital authorities reportedly revealed the news on Monday (US timing).
