Fans issue death threats to player

Colombian footballer Carlos Sanchez, who was red carded only three minutes into the country's opener against Japan, has received a series of online death threats from disgruntled fans.

Despite Sanchez's red card, Colombia managed to bounce back. According to a Guardian report, Colombian police have launched investigations into a series of online death threats against Sanchez.
