Coronavirus: Dog Saves Owner from Harm; Eats Passport

Now, in a heart-warming story, a pet dog in Taiwan happened to save his mistress’ life by eating her passport before she was scheduled to fly to Wuhan, a Chinese city, where the virus originated and has been causing devastation.
Golden Retriever Kimi chew up his owner’s passport just a few hours before she was set to take a flight to Wuhan. Kimi’s owner, who has been unnamed, told Bored Panda, “I was very angry when I saw my passport torn. And then I saw the news about the coronavirus spreading in Wuhan a few days later.”
Safe to be with her family since she didn’t happen to take the flight, she said, “I hope people all over the world can survive this virus crisis. And we now have to wear masks and wash more and disinfect our hands when we go out.”
Meanwhile, the deadly virus has led to the deaths of more than 100 people in China with several thousands being quarantined and treated for symptoms that include fever, cold, cough, etc, and can eventually works its way up to severe respiratory illnesses.
