Bizarre: Woman Laughs So Hard; Gets Mouth Stuck, Open!

Laughing is not always the best medicine. Yes, you read it right! Imagine going to a hospital for treatment because you laughed. Very Unusual isn’t it? But a woman from China has gone through such circumstance and it is both bizarre and shocking.

According to reports, the woman was aboard a train bound for Guangzhou South Railway Station when all of a sudden she went into a bout of laughter. The reason for the laughter is not known yet. She was apparently laughing so hard for several minutes that she ended up dislocating her jaw.

A doctor was called on the train after an urgent appeal for medical assistance was broadcast through the carriages. "I rushed over and found the passenger unable to speak or close her mouth. She was drooling, so I initially thought she had a stroke. But I took her blood pressure, then asked if her jaw had dislocated previously because of any reason,” the doctor named Luo was quoted as saying by India Times.

It turned out that she had already faced such circumstance due to excessive vomiting during pregnancy. "If you've dislocated your jaw in the past, laughing, yawning or even just opening your mouth too wide can lead to it happening again," Luo was further quoted as saying.
