Man holds air hostess hostage with fountain pen, forces flight to divert

An Air China flight bound for Beijing was diverted to central China on Sunday after a passenger tried to hold an air hostess hostage using a fountain pen, reports the Associated Press.

Air China issued a statement saying that police and civil authorities were handling the situation and refused to divulge further information.
