A video of the same was shared by the official twitter account of the Prime Minister Office captioning, "Memorable moments from #HowdyModi when PM @narendramodi and @POTUS interacted with a group of youngsters."
In the video, both the leaders can be seen interacting with a group of youngsters when all of a sudden a boy from the group requested them for a selfie. After clicking a happy picture, Modi patted the boy’s shoulder.
Being shared on in the morning of September 23, the post has since garnered 50K likes and thousands of comments. “That kid got a selfie that most world leaders would not get,” commented one Twitter user. “Actually, very lucky boy,” wrote another.
Around 50,000 people gathered for what Mr Trump called a "profoundly historic event" on Sunday in Houston. The "Howdy, Modi!" event was billed as one of the largest ever receptions of a foreign leader in the US.
