The UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Thursday issued a statement apologising for torn Indian flag in the anti-Modi protests outside the Downing Street in London. Hundreds gathered and brought down a flagpole in the Parliament Square as PM Modi met his British counterpart Theresa May. The protests were triggered by recent incidents of rapes in India, say reports.
