90% of COVID-19 Recovered Patients Suffer from Lung Damage – New Shocking Report!
Home > News Shots > World newsAs the novel coronavirus continues to take a toll in several countries, it has now been established that many people who recover from the virus are reportedly suffering with lung damage in Wuhan. Almost 90% of the recovered patients are continuing to report difficulty in breathing as their lungs haven’t recovered months after testing negative.
In July, the one-year programme which was conducted at Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University had studied 100 recovered patients. The average age of the patients is 59. Except for 10% of the patients all others are continuing to face problems in gas exchanging functions int heir lungs.
In this research they found that the recovered patients could only walk 400 meters in 6 minutes while their healthy peers walked 500 meters in the same period of time.
Another University from Beijing concluded its study by reporting that those who recovered are relying on oxygen machines. Their results also show that the anti-body in 10% of the people has completely disappeared. These alarming reports have instigated fear in people.
"The results revealed that the patients'' immune systems are still recovering," Peng Zhiyong, the Wuhan Unversity Head said.
