YouTube is reportedly testing the ‘Incognito Mode’ feature on its Android app as it was spotted for some users. The mode stops YouTube from saving history as it stops Watch and Search history. Though users can simply sign out of their accounts to avoid history, the new feature allows them to do so without having to sign out.

The Incognito Mode is spotted on the top-right corner replacing the Sign out option, which has been moved under the Switch account option. The mode clears the current session and hides all the subscriptions. However, it is not known that when the feature will be rolled out for all users.

The ‘Incognito Mode’ icon spotted on the YouTube app resembles that of many browsers. YouTube already offers options to pause Watch history and Search history, which can be accessed in the Settings.
