WhatsApp first came into existence as messaging app as people started chatting using it. Later, they added voice call and video call facilities.
Recently, they added payment options and now they have come up with business catalogue which helps sellers to sell on the app so users can shop from it.
The Facebook-owned app introduced the "catalogue feature" on Thursday for sellers to share information about their products. The feature is available for both iOS and Android.
It is now available in countries like India, Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, the UK and the US; soon it will be available in other countries. However, within app transactions are yet to be allowed.
