Samsung Might Sue A Woman For Using Apple's iPhone X; Here's Why
Home > Technology newsLoyalty is something that every mobile brand is careful of. Samsung is well known for taking potshots at other brands, especially Apple, whenever it gets the opportunity. But this latest bit of information will come as a bit of surprise.
Samsung made use of a well-known name in Russia, Ksenia Sobchak as its brand ambassador. However, the brand ambassador committed a major blunder in public - when she was spotted using an Apple iPhone X.
According to a report in the Times of India, it is being alleged that Samsung is suing the woman for $1.6 million for breaking the terms of her contract. As per a report in AppleInsider, which quoted The Mirror, the woman was spotted covering her iPhone X with a sheet of paper during a TV show. The woman has been spotted using an iPhone at other social events as well.
While Samsung has not given out an official statement, it is being noted that the woman's multiple sightings with a rival brand's product has prompted Samsung to take legal recourse. This may very well be the first time that a brand is suing its own brand ambassador for doing such a thing.
