The Google Play Store is currently going through a tough time right now as the Joker virus is posing a large threat to Android users. Following which, Google has found 24 such apps affected with the malware.

Just like its name- Joker malware relies only on ads for signing up people for premium subscriptions and steal data in the end. The malware is dangerous for Android users that's why Google has now removed all the affected apps from the Play Store.

As per India Today reports, Google got to know that the presence of the Joker malware in 24 apps available for download on the Play Store, following which it has removed these apps for the Play Store. 

The Joker malware can easily and secretly sign people up to premium subscription services, not just that they can also steal SMS messages, contacts and gather device information such as the serial and IMEI numbers.

Check the list below of the infected apps that has been released: Advocate Wallpaper, Age Face, Altar Message, Antivirus Security, Security Scan, Beach Camera, Board picture editing, Certain Wallpaper, Climate SMS, Collate Face Scanner, Cute Camera, Dazzle Wallpaper, Declare Message, Display Camera, Great VPN, Humour Camera, Ignite Clean, Leaf Face Scanner, Mini Camera, Print Plant scan, Rapid Face Scanner, Reward Clean, Ruddy SMS, Soby Camera and Spark Wallpaper.

After reading the list, if you happen to see any of these apps in the Play Store, then delete it immediately.

The Joker malware's presence has been seen in 37 other countries, with India largely to be affected.
