Youth overtakes CM Stalin's convoy, arrested - details!

A youth who overtook Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's convoy has been arrested and interrogated.

Traffic will be streamlined so that the Chief Minister does not have to interfere his journey on the road. Heavy security will be put in place to prevent any individuals from crossing the road. In this context, Chief Minister MK Stalin left the General Secretariat this afternoon for his home in Alwarpet.

Then, as the war memorial was approaching from the General Secretariat, a young man on a two-wheeler overtook the Chief Minister's convoy. Immediately after the security officials, the police who were involved in a vehicle inspection near the Napier Bridge, got hold of the young man.

The two-wheeler driven by the youth did not have a number plate and he was suspected. Following this, the youth was taken to the Fort police station and the police investigated. The investigation revealed that the youth was Ajith Kumar (age 22) from KK Nagar area.

The investigation has revealed that the two-wheeler driven by the youth was stolen in MGR. When he arrived at the Marina area to escape with the stolen two-wheeler, it was revealed that he had overtaken the convoy. Following this, the police arrested Ajith Kumar and are continuing to investigate him.
