Wife stayed 2 days with husband's body in Chennai - details!

The incident where the wife lived with the body of her dead husband for two days in Chennai has shocked many.

Ashok Babu hails from Vaikolkaran Street in the suburbs of Chennai. Ashok, 53, has a son and a daughter. Ashok Babu's son is staying and working abroad. His married daughter lives with her husband in Bangalore. She used to call her father Ashok Babu from time to time. She had called her father a few days ago but he did not pick up the phone.

At first ahe thought it was normal, but she got scared because Ashok did not pick up the phone for two days. She left for Chennai immediately after this, told the details to the Vepery police officers and went home with them. When the police found the house inside, they knocked on the door and planned to break it down.

Following this, the police officers and the woman who broke down the door and went inside froze in shock. Ashok Babu is lying dead on the floor inside the house. He is sitting looking at the body of his mentally ill wife Ashok.

Inquiry

Following this, the police sent Ashok's body to the hospital for autopsy and admitted his wife to a psychiatric hospital. Police said there were no injuries on Ashok's body and a case was registered against him and an investigation was underway.
