Police investigate on suspicious death of a farmer - details!

The incident in which a sleeping farmer was attacked with a weapon by splitting the roof of the house has caused shock.

Muthusamy hails from Polnayakkanvalasu village near Ottansathram in Dindigul district. He is a farmer and has a wife named Durakkannu and 3 daughters named Muthulakshmi, Vijayalakshmi and Tamilselvi. Muthusamy had been living alone in the garden house since his wife died while he married off his daughters.

In this condition Muthusamy was sleeping at home last night. Mysterious persons who broke the roof of the house then entered the house and attacked the sleeping Muthusamy with weapons and fled. Muthusamy was injured and died on the spot.

A woman who came to work in the garden as usual in the morning was shocked to find Muthusamy dead. She immediately informed Muthusamy's relatives about this. They then informed the police.

Police recovered Muthusamy's body and sent it to Ottansathram Government Hospital for autopsy. The police investigation has revealed that the gold jewelery and money in the house were not stolen. So the police are actively searching for the suspects by collecting clues from forensic experts and sniffer dog. The incident has caused a stir in the area.
