With the help of CCTV, man finds thief who stole his gold!

In Namakkal district, the owner of a house who caught the thief using the CCTV camera and handed over to the police has caused a stir in the area.

Gunasekaran hails from Lakshmi Nagar near Pallipalayam in Namakkal district. He runs a petty shop in the area. Meanwhile his gold often misses at his house. Shocked by this, he was eager to know who exactly is stealing the gold and also has made various attempts to find it out.

CCTV Camera

Following this, Gunasekaran installed a CCTV camera in front of the almirah where gold was kept in his house. He froze in shock when he saw the CCTV camera footage a few days later.

Jewelry Theft

Lakshmi is a helper who regularly gives bath to Gunasekaran's granddaughter every day. She had been visiting his house for the past four months, hails from Kandi Puthur area. The CCTV camera recorded that Lakshmi opened the almirah when no one was at home and took out the gold that was kept inside. Gunasekaran saw the footage and immediately lodged a complaint with the police.

Following this, the police have registered a case and arrested Lakshmi. Police also seized 5 sovereign of gold from her as a result of the investigation.

Police praised Gunasekaran, who caught her stealing red-handed and handed over to the police.
